We have moved! We anticipate some delays while setting up the new shop. Thanks.
My name is Tim Stevenson and I live in Florence, Montana. My ship didn't come in until I was about 40. It was then I figured out that that old chainsaw could do more than make firewood! Things seem to happen for a reason and when my job as a pay phone technician went by the way of the dinosaurs, I had to find another way to buy my beans. 16 years later and I'm still happily carving away and even making a fair living at it. I enjoy breaking up the carving by building rustic furniture. For me there's a lot of satisfaction in taking an old scraggly dead tree and turning it into something someone will cherish and actually pay good hard earned money for.
Take a look at my website and let me know if there's something I can build or carve for you. I don't post prices on everything on this site as they vary so much depending on size, character of the wood, etc. I would be happy to get back to you with a quote once I know what you’re looking for. I do ask half down when ordering and balance on pick up or delivery and shipping is available. Satisfaction is always guaranteed and for any reason you are not happy with your order you will be refunded in full.
Be sure to come to my shop or my shows to see what new works I'll have or to put in your own personalized order! I always like the challenge of a custom carving or a piece of furniture someone wants, in fact its where some of my best ideas come from.
I take my show on the road about once a month, setting up at Home & Garden Shows in the late Winter & Spring. Throughout the Summer & into the Fall you will find me at Festivals and Art & Craft shows. A couple of the perks of operating this way is I get to make new friends and do business with lots of great folks and the other is I get to see a lot of this awesome state.
I believe in today's competitive market the only way to build a lasting business is by having happy customers. As I travel around the state I continually see old customers coming back for more. The best compliment I can hope for, is to have happy, satisfied customers that I do business with year after year.
Besides taking my business on the road, I’m partners with Robyn West at a gift store in Phillipsburg, MT- Grassroots Gifts & Gallery. It’s a great place to find a variety of our carvings & furniture. Grassroots is a collection of 8-10 Montana artists & craftsmen. It is located at 130 East Broadway (Across from the Sweet Palace). http://grassrootsgifts.com/
