My name is Tim Stevenson and I live in Florence, Montana. My ship didn't come in until I was about 40. It was then I figured out that that old chainsaw could do more than make firewood! Things seem to happen for a reason and when my job as a pay phone technician went by the way of the dinosaurs, I had to find another way to buy my beans. 22 years later and I'm still happily carving away and even making a fair living at it. I enjoy breaking up the carving by building rustic furniture. For me there's a lot of satisfaction in taking an old scraggly dead tree and turning it into something someone will cherish and actually pay good hard earned money for.
I take my show on the road about once a month, setting up at Home & Garden Shows in the late Winter & Spring. Throughout the Summer & into the Fall you will find me at Festivals and Art & Craft shows. A couple of the perks of operating this way is I get to make new friends and do business with lots of great folks and the other is I get to see a lot of this awesome state.
I believe in today's competitive market the only way to build a lasting business is by having happy customers. As I travel around the state I continually see old customers coming back for more. The best compliment I can hope for, is to have happy, satisfied customers that I do business with year after year.
